Discover timeless elegance: A superb example of this metamorphic desk designed by Mummenthaler & Meier Switzerland in the late 1920's This example dates from the 1950's and produced by Pfeiffer,Norway The desk is of metamorphic form in highly figured Teak with contrasting light Birch interior and a fully fitted ,'office in a box'.When closed the piece is of rectangular form having two doors which swing open to reveal a fully fitted workstation with numerous adjustable position shelves and compartments for all your storage needs. The mid section has a slide out writing top resting on two foldout flaps.Beneath this is a large slide out drawer.The outer sections fold back to maximise the space.The clever 'tardid like,' design folds away and the doors closed back and can be locked together via the bottom locking slide and the fitted lock to secure it.There are three keys present.
